A few years ago, energy conservation and emission reduction were regarded as an important task. The printing and dyeing industry is the first to bear the brunt, and has raised sewage discharge standards and sewage treatment fees many times. In order to reduce production costs and expand production capacity, some printing and dyeing enterprises start from the equipment, production process, sewage post-treatment process and other links to carry out energy saving and emission reduction work. For this reason, foreign advanced air cylinders first entered the list of equipment procurement of printing and dyeing enterprises.​​

It is understood that compared with the traditional J-shaped cylinder, the airflow cylinder has the characteristics of small bath ratio, low energy consumption, and less sewage, and is known as an environmentally friendly green equipment in the 21st century. In 2007, there was a whirlwind of air cylinder purchases in the printing and dyeing industry. In that year, 54 air cylinders were installed and used in the county, and 10 of them were put into use at the end of the year after installation and debugging.​​

According to relevant regulations, before the end of September this year, Zhejiang Yichuang Printing and Dyeing Co., Ltd. will shut down 23 J-type cylinders, thereby greatly reducing the production capacity of restricted enterprises. In the first half of this year, "Yichuang Printing and Dyeing" spent huge sums of money to introduce 11 air cylinders from Germany to eliminate some outdated production capacity. At present, production orders are overwhelmed.​​
